The British Embassy in Podgorica, Montenegro is part of a world-wide network which represents British political, economic and consular interests overseas. The Embassy is now looking to recruit a full-time Corporate Services Officer (CSO) / IT Support Officer (ITSO).
In the role of ITSO, you will have the lead responsibility for ensuring the FCDO IT platform is fully functional at post. To do so the incumbent will deal expeditiously with any faults or advise staff on self-help remedial action. The position holder will liaise with and Third-Party Contractors and take an active role in ensuring post IT is in accordance with Business Continuity Plan.
In the role of CSO the jobholder will work closely with the Corporate services Manager to ensure the estate is running efficiently, compliant and fit for purpose as well as take responsibility for all financial tasks related to estate management. The jobholder will be allocated areas of Health and Safety and will be responsible for post to be compliant in these areas with proper records being kept. In addition, the jobholder will, when necessary, have contact with local contractors to organise new or remedial work to the estate.

This is a full-time 12 months contract for 40 working hours per week.
The successful appointment is subject to confirmation of a background check, security clearance and medical clearance.
Staff recruited locally by the British Embassy in Podgorica are subject to Terms and Conditions of Service according to local Montenegro employment law.
Visa/work permit requirements: Candidates must currently hold the independent right to live and work in Montenegro and be prepared to ensure that right remains throughout the scope of the contract.
