The British Embassy in Copenhagen is part of the UK’s world‑wide diplomatic network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas. The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is a UK Government department that promotes international trade and investment, supports UK businesses to grow globally, and champions free and open trade. DBT Denmark works closely with UK and Danish partners to strengthen bilateral trade links and support UK exporters in priority growth sectors. DBT at the British Embassy in Denmark is seeking a Senior Trade Adviser to support UK exporters operating in the Danish market.
The primary purpose of this role is to work with UK exporters to Denmark across the following priority sectors:
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong network across relevant industry sectors in both the UK and Denmark, and for building strategic relationships that increase UK exports to Denmark. This is a varied, outward‑facing role requiring strong relationship‑building, commercial awareness and the ability to work collaboratively across government and industry.
