The British Embassy in Paris is seeking a professional, reliable and proactive Driver to support the delivery of UK priorities in France. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the UK’s diplomatic mission, supporting senior embassy staff, UK Ministers and visiting officials through the provision of safe, discreet and high‑quality driving and logistical support.
In addition to driving duties, the role includes office and administrative support, contributing to the smooth running of embassy operations and supporting teams across the France Network when required.You will join a welcoming and supportive team, working in a fast‑paced, international environment and contributing directly to the UK’s bilateral relationship with France.
Main Purpose of the Role:The Driver will provide excellent, safe, timely and professional driving services for key Embassy staff, Ministers and senior officials, including high‑profile visits and events. The role also contributes to wider operational support across the Embassy and UKDEL.

This is a full-time, fixed-term, 11-month contract. The position is based on a 35/h week. The monthly salary is 2650€ (gross). In addition, staff receive meal contribution.

Working Pattern: The position is based on a 35- hour working week. 3 x shift pattern (0800-1630; 0930- 1800; 1130-2000h). The position is based on a 35 hour working week. However due to the nature of the work there is the requirement to work some irregular hours, particularly starting early and finishing late, during the working week. There may also be requirements to work on weekends. The successful candidate will be entitled to overtime payments for working additional hours.
